What is it?

• The GE Operating System is composed of year-round, interactive sessions between business CEOs, division and functional leaders and initiative champions. The major components are:
  • Session C: a process of performance review and succession planning
  • Session I: a process for developing a three year strategic plan
  • Session II: a process that provides a short-term financial outlook and lays the groundwork for the annual operating plan
  • Session D: compliance review

• Ensures consistency in the planning approach across all components and businesses.
• Develops processes to retain and reward talent in an organization.
• Places structure around reviewing long-term growth plans.

• Awareness - Leadership seminar-style events that deliver a basic understanding and awareness (2 hours-2 days).
